Year 1 pupils had a fantastic time at the Lisburn Museum on Wednesday 29th April. We found out all about the story of linen and how it was made, dyed and what it was used to make. We even had demonstrations of a real loom working to make a tablecloth and a spinning wheel in action.
Our workshop was on the story of a butterfly and Year 1 made beautiful butterflies which was a lovely way to end our first trip.
